1- We were all taught to believe that money talks; that was a lie, money yells!!
2- Far too many people in leadership positions fail to appreciate or understand the talent of those that report to them.
3-Art propagates the lessons of our civilization while governments keep us in ignorance.
4- The most common phrase I have heard in the American lexicon has been “toxic masculinity “; we have all met or dealt with a man with these traits. In a small circle of my friends, we discussed the importance of equality and used the phrase “toxic feminity.” This also needs to be clearly defined.
5-Nothing is more dangerous than a man that has nothing to lose.
6- Honesty of our friendship; I would rather you hate me for telling you the truth and become better than you love me for telling you a lie, and you stay the same and never change.
7- Based on what I have seen and heard, life can be beautiful and cruel. Both statements are correct based on my experiences in life. We choose how to see, listen, and respond daily to the world around us.
8- We are always and forever in our children’s eyes, remember to live for someone greater than yourself.
9- We place far too much weight at the alter of expert opinions,social media, and celebrity or famous sound bites. We need to go back to our basic beliefs of right and wrong we learned in our first decade of life.
10- We all want what we don’t have, few appreciate what we do have.
