THINGS I LEARNED WHILE LEARNING MEDICINE-61

-Remind yourself frequently that no one in the corporate world thinks or cares about you as much as you think they do; you are a fleeting thought in their minds.

-You cannot be treated as an equal and as an exception at the same time. Wanting to be treated like this validates you are delusional.

-You will have darkness in your life; it’s essential to always seek the light and not let darkness contaminate your heart.

- Not everyone deserves your attention; your gift to them should be silence.

-The lack of your best effort can be detrimental to yourself, your children, your family, and your community.

-Become comfortable with the ideology that there are people in your circles that no matter what you do for them are miserable and will never be happy, be courageous enough to let them go.

-Success is attained when you can work on days you are not inspired or motivated.

-There is nothing more liberating when you reach a time when you realize how indifferent the rest of the world is to what you are doing in your life.

- everyone on the globe is entirely engrossed in their own lives; you are an afterthought in most people’s minds.

-Successful times build confidence and, in worst scenarios, arrogance. Difficult times build character.
