LESSONS I LEARNED WHILE LEARNING MEDICINE-78

-Hurt people hurt people.

-It is more important to be judged by our moments of weakness and how we rise than to be rewarded for projecting strengths we can never measure to.

American culture focuses on material wealth, but the most incredible wealth is the joy spent with loved ones.

-Because of COVID-19, I have learned to have virtual meetings without wearing pants.

-In a man’s world, it’s more important to be feared than to be liked. Being liked earns you popularity but little respect.

-Doing the right thing is never the wrong thing.

-The true, authentic life begins when you are unafraid and no longer seek validation from others

-Be especially cautious of spending time in the work environment with individuals who are always telling you what you want to hear.

-The voiceless always seek out those that have a voice.

-There will be times in life that it’s not business, but it’s personal.
