6-Two major obstacles to embrace in life’s journey; the pain of discipline, or the pain of disappointment, the one you cultivate determines your success in life.

1- You will never be good enough for the wrong person.

2-Make your mess your message.

3-Living your life as others want you to mean you will never become the person you were meant to be

4. It is okay to lose some people that have come and gone in your life. It is not okay to lose yourself or your values.

5-Many people you will meet and work for will treat you based on their needs.

6-People want you to succeed, yet not more than themselves.

7-The people who dislike me are opposed to me because they cannot control or manipulate me.

8-The most important lesson I learned in life:

Learn not to engage with those individuals and life experiences that compromise your peace of mind.

9-Sometimes life guides you toward people who were there, at the right place, and at the right time.

10-There will be a time in your life when you will ask yourself, “There are 8 billion people on the planet; why is the most toxic person in my personal space?”

5-To be a career politician, you seek everyone to like you.

6—Society will let you know you are troublesome when they recognize that they don’t fool you.

7-It’s not about the journey or the destination; it’s the person you become on the journey.

8-Grief, loss, and pain are universal languages every human experiences as part of the human condition..

9-Success at the highest level depends on preparation and performance, which coexist at the most challenging moments.

10-Your greatest critics in life will also be the ones that most want to see you fail.

1-There will be people who come into your life and tear your life into a million pieces. There will also be people who will find your life in pieces and help bring you back to peace.

2- Over your lifetime, you can only give away your peace to one person. Never sacrifice your peace.

3-If you have ever given your peace to anyone in life and have worked tirelessly to regain it, protect it. To those that encroach on your peace, shun them.

4-Make time to appreciate those moments of peace and gratitude while in the moment.

5- We cannot begin to grow until we admit to ourselves the grief that has blunted our growth.

6-You may not like a part of you until someone comes into your life and reminds you that it is the best part of you,

7-Surviving the storms in your life prepares you for the gratitude of raindrops.

8-Make your mission in life self-growth.

9-What some in your circles dislike in you, is the very quality they lack within themselves

10-Do not let others try to fix you. Many times it’s not you that is broken, it’s them.

5-There are so many people who die in their forties yet are buried in their eighties.

6-I finally understand that it is better to be hated than loved; truth comes with hatred, but not always with love.

7-The strongest mentally strong people you meet have secretly been through the greatest challenges; very few individuals allow themselves to experience great difficulties when their lives are without many challenges.

One of my greatest accomplishments in life has been to expect nothing and appreciate even the smallest things, like a wild orchid.

10-There will be experiences in your life that many people will never understand.

1. There will be many times in corporate America when you feel you are fighting a war you will never win.

2. In the corporate world, we work towards our level of competence and knowledge.

3. I have an incredibly high level of education and knowledge, yet I have a very simplistic understanding of the world. Treat me with respect, and I will treat you with respect. Treat me disrespectfully, and do not expect me to engage with you.

4. Our struggles in life give us the foundations of courage. Developing courage becomes complicated if your life’s path is seamless and without disappointments.

5. Being able to say I am sorry to someone you hurt constructs a bridge to functional relationships.

6. Many times in your life, there will be a mountain to climb; others will create the mountain against you, or you will create your own mountain to climb to reach the summit.

7. Live your life for yourself, and you help no one; live your life for others and help the world.

8. The absence of shame allows individuals in your life to behave in ways they could never imagine.

9. Many people in American culture can go through their lives from the cradle to the grave and never have a relationship with someone markedly different from their upbringing, beliefs, and values. How else do you learn who you are?

10. Don’t be surprised when the rug trips you, and you fall because you used it to sweep away all your problems.

1-I have had experiences in my life that changed me and I found myself thinking, I miss who I was one minute ago.

2- I was young when I learned that i want my life to mean something, with wisdom I also learned that I want my death to mean something.

3-With wisdom we learn the importance of friendship, we also learn that some people are just afraid to be your enemy, I can live with that.

4-Live and exhaust your life until you die.

5- Sometimes in life you will need to make the wrong choices to get to the right place.

6-Most of us are so adamant about where we should be, we forget to appreciate the memories of where we are right now.

7-In my field of medicine I was not motivated to work and do research on the many patients that survived, I was motivated by the patients that did not survive.

8-Who you were isn’t who you are.

9-You can choose to see gifts in people they don’t see in themselves.

10-Many times in life you will be a little wrong and a little right at the same time.

6-You care about someone when you give them your attention, and ten others are asking you for your attention.

7-In order to understand your journey in life, you will need to ask yourself very difficult questions for which you will not care to hear the answer.

8-Your confidence should arise from your good intentions in life.

9-One of my superpowers is that if you are angry, I can make you angrier, you’re welcome.

10- Many times in life, it’s important to not fit the mold society wants to put you in.

1. Early on in my life, I could never take my foot off the gas pedal when it came to reaching goals. I had been disappointed far too many times by feeling average.

2. Sometimes in life, you will need to do things you do not want to do, but you do them because it’s the right thing.

3: There is a significant difference between hearing a message you don’t want to hear and a message you need to hear.

4: There are many kinds of love we experience; I discovered that my love for my children is “selfless” love.

5: It’s not always about letting go of your past; many times it’s letting go of a future that will never materialize.

6: We can make ourselves miserable or stronger; the amount of work is the same.

7: I have been told throughout my career that I am very direct; apparently, that is not a compliment.

8: Sometimes in life, it’s better to be lucky than smart

9-Many times in your life, it will seem like your world will end and begin again. Each new beginning brings wisdom, hope, and greater clarity.

10: One of my most notable flaws as a human being is my failure to accept individuals who live life with entitlement.
