THINGS I LEARNED WHILE LEARNING MEDICINE -27

-Silence can sometimes speak so many words it’s deafening.

- It is much easier to make life decisions when you are not tired, hungry, sad, or angry.

- Adversity builds character.

- When spoken frequently enough, even if false, narratives become gospel.

-The only way to rid yourself of self-doubt is to work hard to beat the self-doubts out of your mind.

-Not all problems in life have a good ending or solution. Life is messy, and you may not have closure on everything that transpired.

-Learning to force yourself to be in uncomfortable situations is a superpower. Pushing your physical, emotional, and mental limits is where you have the most significant and rewarding growth in life.

-The person in the meeting who is always talking is not the most intelligent in the room; they have the most issues.

- As I have more birthdays, I realize I don’t have much to say unless I am asked; great wisdom arises from silence and listening.

- The thoughts in your mind determine your overall happiness with your life; You are in total control of your day-to-day happiness.
